Jane
Jane Irwin bought Shane his first bag of whole bean coffee and opened the doors for his coffee curiosity. Jane’s past experiences as a bookkeeper for numerous Philadelphia based small businesses has helped shape the operations for Hill Road Coffee Roasters.
Shane
Shane Kilpatrick began roasting coffee in 2016, inspired by the world of flavor he’d discovered in whole bean, single origin coffee. Three years later in 2019, Hill Road Coffee Roasters was born. Shane roasted coffee in a certified kitchen and sold through farmers markets from Reading to Malvern. In 2022, with the help of a business partner and a new larger roaster, Hill Road Coffee expanded into a brick-and-mortar location in Mohnton, PA.
Dave
A friend of Shane and Jane’s for over 15 years, Dave Roberts joined the HRCR team in 2022. Since the opening of the roastery in Mohnton, Dave has helped the company with coffee bar operations.
